Stephanie Rooks

C.Ht. Founder & CEO

Stephanie was born and raised in Los Angeles, California.  Stephanie witnessed the importance of assisted care at an early age.  Her mother Evelyn Louise Rochon was a single mom, and she was blind. Evelyn raised her family with strong determination and lovingly encouraged them to courageously pursue their ambitions.  Ms. Rochon became the Commissioner of Compton, proving that anything is possible if you believe in yourself and work hard. Stephanie followed her mother’s example and studied business and marketing at Adelphi University.  She has also owned many businesses prior to becoming a health advocate.   Stephanie earned a Certification in Clinical Hypnotherapy at HMI College of Hypnotherapy, where she acquired skills in Imagery, Meditation and Sound bathing.

Stephanie is the proud mother of three adult children, one of whom is handicapped.  Caring for her son and learning of the vast elements relative to his wellbeing provided a foundation for the multidisciplinary nature of being in service full time.  Stephanie is also the loving mother of three step-sons and three grandchildren.

As a former AirBnB host, Stephanie entered the hospitality industry and provided access to housing for travelling executives. However, the plight of the homeless and helpless tugged at her heart.  Stephanie then formed a team to acquire her first two residences that focused on caring for those in crisis who need a place for care and comfort.  Her desire is to expand the number of facilities and the number of residents that need help who are without family, homes or any other place to go.

Stephanie Rooks and her husband Maurice Rooks share a joint commitment for serving their fellow man with compassion and excellence.
